Dr Vijay Raj is a general adult and child & adolescent psychiatrist servicing Shepparton and the wider region of Northern Victoria as well as the bordering region of Southern New South Wales.

He graduated with his medical degree from the University of Tasmania and has honed his craft in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and the Northern Territory. He is now settled with his family in Shepparton. He provides outpatient care through the multidisciplinary mental health clinic, Healthy Mind Solutions in Shepparton. He also provides inpatient psychiatric care at the Sherbourne Clinic in Shepparton Private Hospital. He sees patients of all ages with a vast array of psychiatric illnesses. Dr Raj believes that quality psychiatric care must begin first from having a proper understanding of the patient's illnesses and the contributing biological, psychological and other environmental influences. He also employs the latest technologies in providing care for his patients that is uniquely tailored to their needs. This includes the large armoury of psychological therapies, medications, and the latest brain stimulation treatments including tDCS, rTMS and ECT.
